The first ever WATERBOMB event in Singapore has just revealed its first line-up of K-Pop and K-Hip Hop stars and local artistes at the press conference held on Monday, 6 May 2024.

Sandara Park, who is in the line-up, has graced everyone who were at the press conference with her crazy energy and sweet as honey voice as she performed “Festival” and “I Am the Best”! Also known as Dara, she is a South Korean singer, actress, and television presenter who became an internationally famed individual through the South Korean girl group 2NE1.
Having being back in Singapore after a whole 5 years, Sandara expressed her happiness and gratitude of seeing her fans at the press conference and that she missed her Singapore fans (and chilli crab which she saved as her last stop in this trip) as she could not visit Singapore during the covid period. Singapore is actually one of Sandara’s favourite cities in the world which she enthusiastically listed out places such as Marina Bay, Clarke Quay, Universal Studios Singapore, and more.
When asked how she has adapted from being in 2NE1 to becoming a solo artiste, Sandara coped with the bore of not having her members around by knowing that she has her fans’ support whenever she goes up on stage. Sandara was at first worried and afraid of performing 2NE1’s songs by herself but once the music comes on on stage and all her fans started singing along with her, she realised that she was not alone. Now, she is very confident in all her performances including 2NE1’s songs!
When asked to share some of her discoveries or things she would like to share with her fans, she said that since she grew up in the Philippines, Southeast Asia holds a dear spot in her heart and she loves the hot weather, food, energy, and the people! In fact, she loves Southeast Asia more than South Korea (as she can wear freely in Southeast Asia).

Fans who are looking forward to watch Sandara perform at WATERBOMB in Singapore, get ready to have fun and go crazy as Sandara has prepared a totally different set list this year where she will perform songs with new music arrangements, new choreography, and bolder outfits which have not yet been revealed at all.
A cool advice from Sandara – WATERBOMB is going to be a really sexy and fun event and “there’s really this energy that makes you go crazy so just prepare your water gun … and please wear swimsuits .. because everyone is gonna get wet and when you’re wearing ordinary clothes, it’s really gonna be cold so you should wear bikinis too ok!”
