Last Saturday, 26 July, TIOT (pronounced tee-i-o-tee) made their mark in Singapore with their very first Fancon ‘FLEX ZONE’ at the cozy Francaise Theatre. TIOT, short for Time Is Our Turn, is a five-member boy group that consists of Kim Min-seoung, Kum Jun-hyeon, Hong Keon-hee, Choi Woo-jin, and Shin Ye-chan, who officially debuted in 2024. The intimate venue only added to the charm of the night, creating a warm and electric atmosphere as excited fans packed the theatre, ready for an unforgettable evening.

From the moment the lights dimmed, TIOT wasted no time enchanting the crowd, opening with the playful “Sweet Magic”. Their setlist was a treat for fans, featuring fan favorites like “Flex Line”, “Rock Thang”, “The Long Season”, and their heartfelt fansong. The boys even brought out “Baby Shark” from their Kick-START album, filling the hall with smiles and laughter. But it was their latest track, “Run Run Barefoot,” that truly stood out, instantly transporting fans back to the nostalgic vibes of the 90s with its retro energy. (Editor’s pick!)

One of the highlights of the night was their Dance with TIOT segment, where the members showcased their dance moves with covers of iconic tracks including EXO’s “Love Shot”, SEVENTEEN Hoshi X Woozi’s “ECHO!”, SEVENTEEN’s “HOT”, Saja Boy’s “Soda Pop”, and TWS’s “Countdown!”. The mix of powerful choreography and playful stages had fans on their feet cheering.
During “Unbeatable,” TIOT took fan interaction to a whole new level—stepping off the stage and spending the entire song greeting fans up close. Some lucky attendees even snagged selfies with the members, creating unforgettable, personal moments. Not stopping there, the boys requested to perform the song again, determined to ensure every single fan had their chance for close interaction and even a spot on their phones. To top it all off, the night concluded with a hi-touch session, ensuring every fan left with a cherished memory and a smile.

TIOT’s first fancon in Singapore was more than just a showcase of their talent—it was a heartwarming reminder of their connection with fans. From their swoon-worthy vocals to their playful charm, TIOT left fans falling even deeper for their charm. (Yes, a few of our Editor’s friends actually ip-deoked.)
