A Massive Reunion at WATERBOMB 2025

(it’s gon’ be long, so stay with us!)

Last weekend was impeccable. Over 10 Korean acts hit the WATERBOMB Singapore stage at Siloso Beach across two days, 30th and 31st August — easily making this the biggest WATERBOMB lineup we’ve ever had on our shores.

First up, the queens of 2NE1 made their long-awaited comeback in Singapore. Just the red background highlighting their silhouettes had fans screaming, and when Come Back Home started, the entire beach turned into one massive sing-along. We’re pretty sure everyone there got goosebumps. The last time 2NE1 performed in Singapore as a group was in 2014 for their “All Or Nothing” tour, more than a decade ago. (Of course, we won’t forget CL and DARA’s solo appearances at WATERBOMB 2024, but this was different. This was 2NE1.)

Next, SHINee gave fans a jaw-dropping surprise. Minho and Taemin appeared together on stage and performed View. It was a really beautiful-beautiful-beautiful-beautiful view, and the crowd absolutely lost it because they were only listed as solo performers. (Okay, we admit. We were secretly hopeful, but still, what a moment!)

Then came the return of EXID! The last time they were in Singapore was for their Asia Tour in 2017, and fans had been waiting ever since. They treated everyone to a throwback setlist including Up & Down, DDD, Hot Pink, and Ah Yeah. The nostalgia was real, and the fan chants? Louder than ever.

The long-awaited JAMBEBE collaboration finally happened! For all Street Woman Fighter fans, it was literally a dream come true. It had been almost two years since their last collab, and when they performed We Are, the crowd went wild. JAM REPUBLIC also made their first WATERBOMB Singapore appearance and tore up the stage with their latest release ANTHEM. Most importantly, who would have thought they’d perform Angels in Tibet live? Meanwhile, TEAM BEBE brought the heat with jaw-dropping choreographies.

Of course, WE ARE CLC! SORN and Seungyeon finally gave fans the CLC medley they’d been dreaming of. Truthfully, we had hoped for this last year when they performed at WATERBOMB, but it was worth the wait. Cheshires got to see the duo perform No, Black Dress, Hobgoblin, and the iconic Helicopter — all live, all flawless. Fans in the crowd screamed every chant, and if you need proof, just check this viral video.

And last but not least — maybe not a “reunion” per se, but still unforgettable — Youngji shared the stage with TEAM BEBE’s Sowon and Cheche for a powerful performance of Smoke. The two also joined her for Witch, bringing back memories of their legendary collab from Show Me The Money 11.
