VERIVERY Reunites with Singapore VERRERs at First-Ever Solo Fanmeeting After Seven Years

Nearly seven years on from HallyuPopFest 2019, VERIVERY finally returned to Singapore, this time for their first-ever solo fanmeeting, Hello VERI Long Time. The sense of anticipation was unmistakable as Singapore VERRERs welcomed the group back with loud cheers and heartfelt singalongs, marking a long-awaited reunion. The fanmeeting opened on a powerful note with Undercover and G.B.T.B., setting the tone with sharp choreography and commanding stage presence. The high-energy opening was a clear reminder of how much VERIVERY have grown since their early days.

As the night unfolded, the atmosphere shifted smoothly between strong performances and playful game segments. Members Kangmin, Dongheon, and Gyehyeon, who recently participated in Boys Planet II, surprised fans by dancing to the showโ€™s theme song Hola Solar during the Random Play Dance segment. They also took on No Doubt by ENHYPEN and Overdrive by TWS, effortlessly showcasing both their charismatic and cute sides, much to the delight of the crowd. Yongseung drew even more attention during the Chanel challenge, confidently revealing his sexy side and earning loud cheers when he gave fans a brief glimpse of his abs.

True to the spirit of a fanmeeting, the evening was also filled with interactive segments that highlighted VERIVERYโ€™s chemistry as a 7-year-old (soon to be 8) group. Games such as “Filling In The Lyrics” and “Continue The Choreography” kept both the members and fans engaged throughout. A team mission where members had to act out given words, in particular, became a source of laughter as the members acted out words such as โ€˜princeโ€™ and โ€˜aegyoโ€™ with increasingly exaggerated actions, from handstands to playful gestures such as kissing each other.

The members also spoke fondly about their time in Singapore, sharing their love for kaya toast and plans on visiting Universal Studios Singapore, which they did the following day. These familiar references made the fanmeeting feel especially personal, strengthening the sense of connection with Singapore VERRERs.

Singapore marked the first stop of VERIVERYโ€™s fanmeeting tour following their most recent comeback with their fourth single album, Lost and Found, released after a hiatus of two years and eight months. The members spoke emotionally about achieving first place on KBS Music Bank with Begginโ€™, the albumโ€™s title track, marking their first such achievement since Tap Tap in 2022. Although the first-place stage was not broadcast, they shared how meaningful the moment was to them and expressed their gratitude for VERRERsโ€™ unwavering support. Fans were also invited to sing along to the hook of Begginโ€™, turning the venue into a shared moment of rhythm and emotion. The group additionally performed Empty and Blame Us โ€” both from Lost and Found โ€” marking their first time performing the full album at a fanmeeting.

Emotions peaked during the fan project in the encore, when a video documenting VERIVERYโ€™s seven-year journey, from their debut to the present, played on screen. As the clips unfolded, the lively energy from fans jumping and chanting to songs earlier gave way to quiet reflection, with emotions lingering throughout the venue. To lighten the mood, member Dongheon jokingly remarked, โ€œThe atmosphere was so good for a photo just now, why did you guys suddenly play this?โ€

As the fanmeeting drew to a close, the prevailing feeling was one of gratitude. Reflecting on the fan video, the members shared that looking back on their journey with VERRERs made them realise how much they had grown over the years, both personally and as performers. VERIVERYโ€™s return to Singapore felt more like a heartfelt reunion, leaving fans with the reassurance that even after seven years together, the bond remains as strong as ever.
