Four years since their last Singapore concert, NCT 127 returned with an opening that meant business.
At the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 18 October, Taeyong, Johnny, Yuta, Jaehyun and Haechan kicked off ‘NEO CITY : SINGAPORE – THE REDLINE’ with “Legacy”, “Step Up” and “Walk”. “Simon Says”, “Cherry Bomb” and “Lemonade” followed, before “Punch”, “Bring the Noize” and “2 Baddies” completed a nine-song stretch ahead of their first greeting.
That is quite a workout before even saying hello. With demanding choreography throughout, the opening gave Singzennies plenty to cheer for straight away.

Red lighting and flame-filled screens set the scene, while lasers swept across the stadium above a sea of green lightsticks. The heavier performances had the production to match, particularly as the group moved through “Piñata”, “Fire Truck”, “Fact Check” and “Kick It” later in the evening.
There was time to slow down, too. “Not Alone” and “Day After Day” brought the members’ vocals into focus, while “0 Mile” and “Summer 127” added a brighter mood to the set.
Doyoung and Jungwoo, who are currently serving their mandatory military service, were unable to join the concert, but they were never far from Singzennies’ hearts. Their voices were still heard in “Ay-Yo” and “Promise You”, while their appearances in the VCR served as a touching reminder that even in their absence, they remain an irreplaceable part of NCT 127.

“Paper Plane” and “Touch” were among the encore selections, but the group had more in store. Just when the evening seemed over, they returned for a second encore with “Blingy” and “Piñata”, sending fans back into cheering mode.
The members also acknowledged the long gap since their previous visit. Johnny expressed his hope to return in less than four years, while Haechan wished for more time with Singzennies on their next visit.
One thing’s for sure: Singzennies will be ready to welcome NCT 127 back with open arms, and hopefully, much sooner this time.
