Spanning a massive 5000 Square feet, Skechers opened their first duplex and brand experience store in South East Asia at Jewel Changi Airport Singapore. The store brought customer’s a unique shopping experience by allowing customers to customise their own shoes.
The second level of the store stands an Instagram worthy spot where customers will be able to snap some OOTD (Outfit-Of-The-Day) pictures. The campaign refreshes every season, so grab your shots fast!
Thursday, 18 July 2019, Skechers brand ambassador NEX7 Justin Huang Minghao and Huang Xin Chun were invited to grace the grand opening of the new store. Being their first time here in Singapore, Justin and Xin Chun said that they look forward to try Singapore’s local delicacy and also mentioned that they had seafood after they landed in Singapore. The duo also mentioned that they would like to visit the Skechers experience store and if time allows, they would like to go to the beach to explore.
On the opinions on Skechers shoes, the duo finds the shoes designs very pretty and it’s suitable to wear when walking and dancing as the inner lining of the shoe is very soft and comfortable. Xin Chun revealed that he has sent the shoes to his parents, and the very first time he tried on Skechers shoe was during a program filming.
Not only that, the shoes has a build-in insole which will make you look naturally taller. When asked about the fashion item that can’t be left out in their everyday life, they both answered to “Skechers”.
Xin Chun: “We are very thankful to Skechers for giving us the opportunity!”
Lastly, Justin mentioned that they are currently preparing for the group’s new album and fans can anticipate and look forward to it!
At the official grand opening, hundreds of fans who have heard that the boys will be at the grand opening lined up early in the morning, hoping to catch a glimpse of the duo. Justin and Xin Chun greeted the fans at the short fashion show outside and proceeded to the store for a short interview. Lucky fans who won exclusive passes were able to meet the boys upclose and interact with them inside the store.
Skechers duplex and brand experience store is now open at Jewel Changi Airport Singapore #02-201. Limited Jewel-exclusive collections are also available at the store.
