About Kim Woojin

KIM WOOJIN received attention in Korea and abroad even before his debut as an artist with a warm and soft tone of attractive voice and powerful performance.

During his pre-debut period, KIM WOOJIN created more than 150 podcasts, cover videos, collaborations, and vlogs, demonstrating his great anticipation from global fans and achieving 350k YouTube subscribers and 1.5M TikTok followers. In July of 2021, he was ready to officially introduce his music to the world with his pre-debut single [Still Dream], which put his own story genuinely.

In August 2021, KIM WOOJIN made his official debut with the release of his debut album [The moment : 未成年, a minor], which showcase his various musical charms. In this album, KIM WOOJIN has participated in the lyrics of all tracks, and in addition to his voice along with his delicate range of feeling and energetic performance, he presents the starting point of an artist with a growth mindset. [The moment : 未成年, a minor]
‘未成年(minor)’ is a term referring to a person who is still passing through the period before going out into society. It is also referred to in musical terms as a minor key. The first mini album of KIM WOOJIN presents various emotions about the moments we face as a minority in the world before going out into society as a grown-up.

It’s no secret that in order to achieve the future, one has to sacrifice the present. The workplace is full of exploitative practices which can be seen in various categories: part-time work, athletes being abused, and grades and results coerced. Through each story that started and developed from a personal experience of KIM WOOJIN, we would like to capture the various pieces of emotions that we feel in this album that no one will ever record.
